OUR HISTORY

Home and heritage

When Aase and Jørgen Henrik Hildebrandt moved into these buildings, they didn’t know they were about to found a hotel family.
Actually, they didn’t even know they were going to run a hotel.

Our two founders were looking for space for their car rental, and a beautiful but aging property was up for sale.
That’s how they wound up here in 1969, unaware of what was waiting ahead.
But soon, they fell in love with these buildings and put their lives, work, and love into them.
And so began our family’s hotel history.

With deep roots in more than half a century of hotel experience, we have learned from history.
Our guests and staff are an extension of our family.
That is why we have four different hotels for many different people.
To create unique settings around unique moments — for all our guests and employees.
Here, we welcome you to our home and our heritage.

  • Taxi
  • Outside Terminals 1 & 3, take a taxi directly to Studiestræde 61.
  • Train + walk
  • Take a train from the station at Terminal 3 to Copenhagen Central Station ("København H"). Then walk to Studiestræde.
  • Metro + walk
  • Take Metro line M2 from Airport (Terminal 3) towards the city: get off at Kongens Nytorv and change for either the M3/M4 towards København H ) or the M4 towards København Syd , and get off at Rådhuspladsen. From here it is only short walk to the hotel.

We've been in these buildings since 1971 and learned that we not only serve our guests but our community. Service goes beyond the hotel doors. We endorse and collaborate with local partners to make your stay both wonderful and sustainable.

We offer parking for your electric vehicle. Electric charge available for DKK 325 per day/car.
Book Your Next Meeting
Our meeting room has a capacity of max. 10 people. It comes fully equipped with PC-projector, TV, free wi-fi access and more. We can also assist you with photocopying and printing.
Fitness Center
Stay active and energized during your stay with our fully equipped fitness center, offering modern equipment and a welcoming space to maintain your fitness routine.
Parking in Private Yard
Enjoy secure and accessible parking options during your visit. We offer private parking for DKK 495 per day/car.
Dog Friendly
We welcome your dog to our hotel. DKK 350 per night/dog – incl. water and food bowls, and an extra towel.
Bike Rental
Get around the city fast and easy. Bikes are available to rent from the hotel reception. DKK 195/day per regular bike.
Nanny Service
Nanny Service DKK 400 per hour.
Check in/out
We offer soft checkout, and you're more than welcome to relax in the lounge after your stay is over. If you arrive early, let us know, and we will try to accommodate you.
Laundry Service
You can always contact the reception to book professional laundry service.
